Keep up to date with the latest best practice
and legislation -
the Cared 4 updates make it easier than ever before!
Adult social care is constantly changing and evolving. Every
year, institutes, governing bodies and various societies undertake research that
uncovers new issues and revisits old ones, with recommendations affecting the
care, treatment and support people should receive.
As evidenced by the past few years, sometimes areas of
critical new legislation, such as the Mental Capacity Act (2008) come into
force, which must be incorporated throughout your procedures. Additionally,
major changes take place, for example with the 2010 release of the
Essential Standards of Quality and Safety, which would mean you had to review
your entire system.
Keeping up to date with everything requires an
enormous investment of time.
Except with the Cared 4 updates, we do it all for you!
Whether there are small changes to existing legislation or
big things happening to adult social care requirements, we constantly keep our
procedures up to date, and through our myCared4QMS online system you can
have access to the updated material instantly!
Our updates come with clear reasons for change so you
can easily adopt the new additions and amendments into your service delivery!
They are also cross-referenced to regulations, enabling you to easily
demonstrate how you are meeting requirements.
Here are some sample documents we
released just last year:
MA-22, CQC Statutory Notification Procedure
This procedure was created to brief managers on the requirements, forms to
use and timescales of notifications under the Essential Standards of Quality and
Safety.
QP-23, Privacy, Dignity and Human Rights
This existing policy was updated to include human rights requirements, as
specified in the Essential Standards of Quality and Safety, as well as adding a
"standards box" outlining which regulations are addressed by this procedure.
CI-01 Framework for Quality (single page demo)
Sitting at the core of the Cared 4 system is a framework that outlines where
each of the outcomes of the Essential Standards of Quality and Safety are
addressed by documents within the system.
The Cared 4 updates
are included at no extra cost as part of our myCared4QMS online system!
