CQC Compliant Day Care Policies & Procedures
Cared4 has been the subject of substantial research and is recognised as being among the leading quality management systems in the social care sector. The system has been developed through the knowledge of inspection, research, and management of social care services.
The Cared4 day care service quality management system is the end product of working with providers in local authorities and private day care services.
The procedures follow best practice in a sequential format and therefore each stage of the procedure is clear to staff. As a result Cared4 can be seen as much more than a quality management system but also as a training resource for staff. It enables managers to give new staff policies and procedures based on best practice so that staff gain an understanding of quality of care from the outset.
Albert cook (MD Bettal) managed day care services for many years ensuring that the focus of the system is based on a person centred approach. At the same time recognising that the quality management system must include policies and procedures for the running of the service.
The system is divided into the following sections: Organisational Arrangements, Staffing, Person Centred Delivery, Service User Involvement, Safety and Risk and Continuous Improvement. It includes 24 policies, 73 procedures and 102 forms.
Given the background to Cared4 you can be sure that you are investing in a system that will give confidence to you and your staff in delivering quality care services.
